An attempt to profiteer riding the coat tails of a master. I strongly object to the colorization of Lange's work, but this is also very poorly done. The color is exaggerated to the extent that everyone pictured, including the children, look like they are wearing heavy make up. Yes the world was in color back then, but it didn't look at all like this.View this work in its stunning original form and learn about Lange through the Library of Congress website loc.gov and by accessing the many good books on Lange by respected scholars including Elizabeth Partridge, Linda Gordon, and Milton Meltzer.
